ENTRY_03: XO Kitty Season 3 Trailer!!!
09/03/2026
Okay, so the trailer for XO Kitty dropped today and I held back for the whole day to gather my thoughts on it before I started to write.
Firstly, Mooncovey! It’s looking really hopeful! We can tell from the trailer that they’ll obviously have a big fight or break or something along those lines, but, Kitty’s ‘Senior Sunset’ list does list a SECOND kiss with Min-Ho, so we know they kiss at least once! My biggest worry with that will be that we’ll either have another arc with Kitty and Yuri being a situationship and then breaking it off again and then Kitty chooses herself, or, my biggest concern, is that the Mooncovey angst will take up so much of the season that we’ll only get an episode or less of them actually together…
Secondly, Lara Jean!!! I was so excited when I saw the teaser with her and I got even more excited when I officially saw her in the trailer! TATBILB has been securely cemented as one of my favourite coming of age trilogies (which is what led to my love of XO Kitty) so to see her cameo is a delight! I got similarly hyped when I saw Peter in the last season.
Overall I’m just insanely excited for the new season and I can’t wait for April second!!!

ENTRY_02: James Marriott and his effect on my life
09/03/2026
So, recently, I got a suggestion from space-outlaw asking me to talk about my thoughts on James Marriott, which is reasonable because I’m pretty sure my index page might as well double as a fanpage for him
I love James Marriott and I love his music. I started watching him back in 2019 when he posted his breakdown on Jojo Siwa’s boomerang and I can say i’ve genuinely been hooked since. I watched alot of the british commentary youtuber sphere growing up and I fell out of it for a bit, but never James, I watched essentially all of his uploads throughout the year and when he released his first official song, Slow Down, back in 2020, I was listening to it immediately, it pales in comparison to his more recent works but at the time it was my favourite thing ever.
When he released Bitter Tongues, I was originally in a very good point of my life, I was a year away from graduating, doing good at my studies and overall, in a peak, but I very quickly fell off that peak because, unironically, the songs ‘Grapes’ and ‘Gold’ made me rethink a lot of how I was living life up to that point, I realised I was unhappy with how I was living my life and made drastic changes. Around the time when I finally made those changes, his EP ‘Are We There Yet’ released. I had split with my long-time partner and changed a lot of my lifestyle, I was secluded after and I became very bitter for a portion of my life, but what truly got me through that time and helped me feel my emotions and let me stew and figure out where to go next, was the songs ‘Romantise This’ and ‘Don’t Blame Me’. They helped me get over what had happened with my relationship and my life and helped push me forward because I realised I couldn’t just sit there and just, live in it, I couldn’t just look back on what I had and see it with rose tinted glasses because there was a reason I was miserable in it.
After that, I had graduated, I started attending college and at the end of my first year ‘Don’t Tell The Dog’ was released. I connected with that album so heavily, I’m a person that holds onto so much and songs like ‘Toothache’ and ‘I Don’t Want To Live Like This’ truly gave me al ot of perspective on myself as a person, two lyrics that genuinely will always stick with me from that album are ‘She calls sometimes when she needs someone and she’s got no one to pick up the phone’ and ‘But I struggle to hate me, and I’m starting to find, nothing has ever been closer than you and I’. These lyrics stuck with me and I carried them with me daily, I ended up seeing him live in November and it was absolutely magical, and it made me realise that I wanted more of those experiences, I wanted to live for myself.
When I heard California Rain for the first time, I knew immediately I needed to make another change in my life, drastic ones, and I made them, I don’t want to go into them in this post but, I think the only reason I had the courage to make those changes was California Rain. The lyric ‘I’m not cut out for the big time’ made me reflect and come to the decision that I will never be famous or popular enough in an online capacity (I used to be a content creator between 2020-2025) and that I will never be able to ‘disappear’ and run away from the place where I am now. That’s what made me decide to make those changes, the fact that I will be here for as long as I will live and I don’t want to spend that time being miserable due to people that made me miserable. California Rain helped me come to that conclusion.
To sum it up, James Marriott’s content and music has gotten me through my later teen to early adult life and the least I can do in return is essentially act as a walking, talking, advertisement for the man that helped me through so much.

ENTRY_01: [Magilumiere]
07/03/2026
So I recently binged watched Maiglumiere with one of my close friends and i will say that it astounds me how incredible the art direction in it is? With the main cast, it's quick to see based on just uniforms and broom design that the company cares about their magical girls, their uniforms are aesthetically pleasing but they're not revealing, which is something i find especially rare in anime, not going to lie.
As an example, They do still have short skirts with Magilumiere but you can tell it still holds a purpose, to me it seems like their legs are exposed so they have an easier time gripping and holding onto their brooms due to the increased amount of friction in comparison to a pair of trousers? Even then they still have the longer back cape/skirts that cover even more. I found this even more obvious when we get introduced to Mei from AST Corp and her uniform is much more revealing than Kana's and Hitomi's as her uniform resembles one of a 'french maid' and is just overall more sexualised? Not to mention her Broom, which I took immediate issue with, it's sleeker in design compared to any other brooms we see to resemble how AST Corp is more advanced in the industry but i couldn't help but think how unsafe it must be? With the broom designs we see for, essentially all magical girls in the show, they have big, bulky backs to them with their engines, but i must also imagine it must be for the magical girls to have something to lean back on and to support them, whilst Mei's broom has no such thing.
. This is another way i found the designs in the show to be just so telling and wildy cool? You can tell so much about the company just based off the way their magical girls are dressed.
Another example is, with Lily, she's elegant and very poetic and flowery which represnts the company she works for perfectly, they're a makeup company that focuses on the beauty of magic rather than the technology aspects of it as we see with Lily's broom and outfit. Godddd, I love this show so much and I am currently reading the manga also, it's just incredible!
